Method
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, chopped broccoli, shredded chicken, oats and sattu flour, minced garlic, ginger paste, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all the ingredients are evenly combined.
- Add the beaten egg to the mixture and stir until everything is well combined and the mixture holds together.
- Shape the mixture into small patties or bite-sized balls.
- Heat a few drops of oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Carefully place the patties or balls in the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Once cooked, serve hot with chutney or dip of your choice.
Recipe tips and variations
- You can use A2 paneer, tempeh, or chickpeas as a replacement for chicken too.
- Steam the broccoli florets until they are tender but still slightly crisp. It will ensure that the bites have a pleasant texture.
